Product details

Description
2-OA-BSA is a functionalized protein complex formed by covalently binding 2-octynoic acid (2-OA) to bovine serum albumin (BSA) through chemical conjugation technology. 2-OA is an organic acid containing an alkyne group (-C≡CH), and its carboxyl group (-COOH) is connected to the lysine residue of BSA via an amide bond, forming a stable covalent bond. This modification retains the natural water solubility, biocompatibility, and low immunogenicity of BSA, while endowing it with the click chemistry activity of the terminal alkyne group, making it an ideal platform for biomarker labeling, drug delivery, and nanomaterial functionalization.

Function
The chemical reaction activity of this product is closely related to the chemical structure (such as functional group activity, etc.), solubility (such as solvent selection, etc.), and chemical reaction conditions (such as temperature, etc.) of the coupling compound. It should be adjusted appropriately according to the actual situation, and the phenomenon of low reaction efficiency or even no reaction with certain substances cannot be ruled out.
